          Learned counsel for the appellants submits before this

Court that the writ petition, out of which the present writ

appeal is arising, was allowed in the year 2008 in view of the

Judgment delivered in the case of Kulwanth Sing Gill v. State of

Punjab1.

          We are now in the year 2021 and therefore, the present

writ       appeal       stands         disposed          of    with       liberty   to   the

appellants/employer to conduct an enquiry and proceed

ahead in accordance with law.

          Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ

appeal shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
