COMMON JUDGMENT: (Per the Hon'ble the Chief Justice Hima Kohli)
1. Learned counsel for the appellant states that she has been
informed by her client that the obituary of the respondent had
appeared in the newspaper a month ago. However, some officers from the CBI had approached her a couple of weeks ago stating that the respondent is alive and they are looking for him in investigation proceedings relating to some fraud. She states that the present appeals may be disposed of as infructuous with liberty granted to the appellant to revive the same in the event it transpires in the future that the respondent is alive.
2. Leave, as prayed for, is granted. The present appeals are disposed of as infructuous along with the pending applications, if any, in view of the demise of the respondent, as stated by learned counsel for the appellant.
