COMMON JUDGMENT: (Per the Hon'ble the Chief Justice Hima Kohli)
1. Learned counsel for the appellant states that the parties have
arrived at a settlement in terms whereof, they have decided to part
company and the appellant has also agreed to pay a lumpsum amount
to the respondent as permanent alimony in lieu of the settlement.
He seeks leave to withdraw the present appeal while reserving the right of the parties to file a petition for divorce by mutual consent before the Family Court.
2. Leave, as prayed for, is granted. The present appeal and I.A.Nos.1, 2, 3 and 4 of 2021 are accordingly disposed of as not pressed.
