JUDGMENT: (Per the Hon'ble the Chief Justice Hima Kohli)
1. The appellant/writ petitioner is aggrieved by an order dated
21.12.2020 passed by the learned Single Judge dismissing a writ
petition filed by him (W.P.No.19239 of 2020) praying inter alia for
disposal of his representation dated 07.07.2020 made to the
respondents/State in respect of certain parcels of land. By the
impugned judgment, the learned Single Judge has declined to entertain the writ petition by noting that disputed questions of fact cannot be decided by the civic authority and that the appellant/writ petitioner has already filed a comprehensive civil suit, which is pending adjudication.
2. After addressing arguments for some time, learned counsel for the appellant/writ petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the present appeal while reserving the right of his client to approach the civil court and pursue the pending suit.
3. Leave, as prayed for, is granted. The present appeal is disposed of as not pressed along with the pending applications, if any.
