WRIT APPEAL No.76 of 2020
JUDGMENT: (Per the Hon'ble the Chief Justice Hima Kohli)
1. The appellant is aggrieved by the order dated 18.12.2019
passed by the learned Single Judge dismissing W.P.No.28041 of 2019
filed by him praying inter alia for issuing directions to the revenue
authorities to answer the queries raised by him in a legal notice dated
02.10.2019 relating to change in the sub-classification made in Survey
No.47 in the revenue records for the year 2015-2016 relating to the
said land situated in Mambapur Village, Gummadidala Mandal, Sanga
Reddy District.
2. The learned Single Judge has dismissed the writ petition filed
by the appellant/petitioner with an observation that there is no
question of the respondent authorities furnishing an explanation to the
legal notice issued by the appellant/petitioner and if the appellant/petitioner has a grievance regarding wrong mutation in the revenue records, he must avail of the remedy available under the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act and the Rules made thereunder.
3. After addressing arguments for some time, learned counsel for the appellant seeks leave to withdraw the present appeal while reserving the right of the appellant/petitioner to seek appropriate legal recourse, both civil and criminal, against the respondent authorities.
4. Without making any observations on the remedies that may be available to the appellant/petitioner, the present appeal is disposed of along with the pending applications, if any, with liberty granted as prayed for.
