JUDGMENT: (Per the Hon'ble the Chief Justice Hima Kohli)

After addressing arguments at some length assailing the common order dated 03.02.2020 passed by the learned Singe Judge in a batch of writ petitions, challenging the order of removal of writ petitioners from service as Home Guards, learned counsel for the appellant finally states that during the pendency of the present appeal, the appellant had submitted himself to a physical test for induction as a Home Guard and his candidature was rejected. Thereafter, he has preferred a writ petition assailing his rejection order, which is pending before the learned Single Judge. In the above circumstances, he seeks leave to withdraw the present appeal.
2. Leave, as prayed for, is granted. The appeal is disposed of as not pressed along with the pending applications, if any.
