WRIT APPEAL No.263 of 2017
JUDGMENT: (Per the Hon'ble the Chief Justice Hima Kohli)
1. On the first call, Mr. Dominic Fernandes, learned counsel for
the respondents No.1 and 2/Indian Oil Corporation Limited stated that
the present appeal has been rendered virtually infructuous, inasmuch as the first period of the tender awarded to the successful bidders was valid for three years, which period expired on 01.01.2020, and the extended period of two years granted by the respondents No.1 and 2/ Indian Oil Corporation Limited will expire on 01.01.2022.
2. As none was present on behalf of the appellants, the matter was passed over to await the presence of learned counsel for the appellants.
3. On the second call, Mr. Naresh Reddy Chinnolla, learned counsel enters appearance for the appellants and concedes that the present appeal has been rendered infructuous.
4. Accordingly, the present appeal is disposed of as infructuous along with the pending applications, if any.
