                    WRIT APPEAL No.207 of 2020

JUDGMENT: (Per the Hon'ble the Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma)

The present writ appeal is arising out of an interim

order dated 26.02.2020 passed by the learned Single Judge in

Telangana, rep., by its Principal Secretary, Municipal

Administration, Hyderabad and others).

The undisputed facts of the case reveal that the Greater

Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (for short, "GHMC")

alleging violation by the appellants/writ petitioners under

Sections 402 and 421 read with Sections 674, 596 and 487 of

GHMC Act, 1955 has passed orders in respect of 2413

offences committed by the appellants and a penalty was

levied to a tune of Rs.47,15,000/- upon all the appellants. A

writ petition was preferred raising various grounds and the

learned Single Judge has granted interim order directing the

writ petitioners to pay a sum of Rs.20 lakhs. The present writ

appeal also includes the order passed by the Director, GHMC

and the challans include the advertisement placed by the

appellants, the location, longitude and latitude along with QR

code. Meaning thereby, there was certain advertisement

placed by the appellants without any permission of GHMC.
                                 2

In the light of the aforesaid, this Court does not find any

reason to interfere with the order passed by the learned

Single Judge and therefore, the admission of the writ appeal

is declined with a liberty to the appellants to argue all the

grounds before the learned Single Judge.

With the aforesaid, the writ appeal is dismissed.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.

There shall be no order as to costs.
