ORDER :
This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the Memo dated 20.02.2021 issued by the 2nd respondent refusing to give benefit of Ordinance No.4 of 2020, dated 31.07.2020 to the petitioners on the ground that the said Ordinance has no retrospective effect, as illegal and arbitrary.
2. Heard both sides.
3. With the consent of both the parties, without going into merits, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioners in the light of the judgment of Apex Court in Civil Appeal No.4578 of 2021, dated 03.08.2021, and take a decision in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible. No order as to costs.
Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
