ORDER (ORAL):
With the consent of both the counsel, this writ petition is being disposed of at the stage of admission.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the learned Government Pleaders appearing for respondents would submit that the issue raised in this writ petition is squarely covered by the order of this court in W.P. No.7249 of 2019 dated 04.04.2019.
3. In view of the above and for the reasons alike, this writ petition is disposed of directing the petitioners to submit a representation afresh within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such representation, the respondents shall consider the same in terms of the judgment of the Apex Court in SECRETARY, STATE OF KARNATAKA AND OTHERS v. UMADEVI1 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of representation. No order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous applications, if any, pending in the writ petition stand closed.
