ORDER: (Per the Hon'ble the Chief Justice Hima Kohli)

In view of the judgment of the Supreme Court in the case of K.Krishnamurthy v. Union of India (reported as (2010) 7 SCC 202), nothing further survives for adjudication in the present petition. The State Government is bound to comply with the said judgment and ensure that reservation in the case of Backward Classes does not exceed 50% of the total seats of Zilla Parishads and Panchayat Samithis in the Districts of the State at any point of time.
2. The present petition is closed along with the pending applications, if any.
