1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite repeated representations to the Superintendent of Police, Udaipur, disclosing commission of a cognizable offence, no FIR has been registered nor any effective action taken till date, allegedly under the influence of the accused party.
2. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to submit a fresh representation to the Superintendent of Police, Udaipur, along with all supporting documents, placing reliance on the judgment of the Hon'ble Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh & Ors., 1 Writ Petition (Criminal) No.68 of 2008. The Superintendent of Police, Udaipur, shall consider and decide the same in accordance with law, keeping in view the aforesaid judgment, as expeditiously as possible.
3. Accordingly, the instant petition and the stay petition stand disposed of.
