1. By way of the present writ petition, the petitioner has raised a grievance that in wake of the order of minor penalty of censure, the respondents would not consider petitioner's case for DPC for the year 2024-25.
2. Reply to the writ petition has been filed by the respondent -
State, in which a specific stand has been taken that in light of the Notification dated 22.10.2024, the penalty of censure shall not be taken as an adverse entry against the petitioner while considering his case for promotion to the post of Dy. Superintendent of Police.

3. In view of the plea taken by the respondents and in light of the judgment of this Court in the case of Dr. Ashok Singhvi vs. State of Rajasthan & Ors. (S.B. Civil Writ Petition No. 10978/2010) decided on 04.01.2013, the present writ petition is disposed of, while directing the respondents to consider petitioner's case for promotion ignoring the penalty of censure.
