1. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioners submit that the issue raised in the present writ petition is covered by an order passed by this Court in case of Vijay Singh v. State of Rajasthan & Ors.: S.B. Civil Writ Petition No.21/2020, decided on 21.07.2023. He submits that the respondents may be directed to consider the representation of the petitioners in light of the aforesaid judgment.

2. In view of the aforesaid submission, without commenting on the merits of the case, the petition filed by the petitioners is disposed of with a direction to the competent authority to decide the representation of the petitioners, in accordance with law, keeping in view the observations made in the case of Vijay Singh (supra), as expeditiously as possible.

3. Pending application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
