1. This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with a challenge to order dated 27.09.2022, whereby the penalty of withholding one annual grade increment without cumulative effect has been imposed upon the petitioner.
2. Counsel for the petitioner made a limited prayer that against the order of penalty dated 27.09.2022, the petitioner has preferred an appeal under Rule 23 of the Rajasthan Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1958 (hereinafter referred to as 'Rules of 1958'), which is pending before the (Downloaded on 17/05/2024 at 09:32:53 PM) [2024:RJ-JP:22146] (2 of 2) [CW-19439/2023] appellate authority since 16.11.2022 and therefore, the appellate authority may be directed to dispose the appeal filed by the appellant-petitioner, expeditiously.
3. In view of limited prayer made by counsel for the petitioner, and in view of the fact that appeal filed by the appellant-petitioner under Rule 23 of the Rules of 1958, is pending since last more than one year. the appellate authority is directed to dispose the appeal filed by the petitioner expeditiously and preferably within a period of four months from today and in accordance with law.
4. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of.
5. Since the main petition has been disposed of, the stay application and all pending application/s, if any, also stand disposed of.
