Judgment / Order (oral) 05/12/2023

1. The petition was filed in the year 2018, seeking following relief:

i) The respondents may kindly be directed to accept the candidature of the petitioner through offline application form.
ii) The respondents may kindly be directed to provide appointment to the petitioner, if she is found otherwise eligible for the post advertised.
iii) Any other order favourable to the petitioner may also be passed.

2. When called for hearing today, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

3. It appears that owing to interim order dated 21.08.2018 by which the petitioner was allowed to participate provisionally in the (Downloaded on 07/12/2023 at 08:41:50 PM) [2023:RJ-JD:42491] (2 of 2) [CW-12606/2018] selection process undertaken pursuant to advertisement dated 31.07.2018, further relief sought by the petitioner has been rendered infructuous by sheer passage of time, or otherwise, the petitioner has lost interest to pursue her case as she may have moved on in life for greener pastures.

4. Be that as it may, the petition is dismissed for non- prosecution, with liberty to revive the proceedings if any cause survives.
