JUSTICE VIJAY BISHNOI Judgment / Order 05/05/2022 Ms. Gomati Sharma, Registrar present in person, has submitted that out of the twelve persons, part payment has been made to one person and process for making payment to the remaining eleven persons is going on. It is submitted that the University is required to make payment of around rupees eight crore, however, due to financial constraints, the University is seeking aid from the State Government and are expected to get the same soon.
It is submitted that the University is making every endeavor to make payment to the petitioners and for that purpose, three months' time may kindly be granted.
Taking into consideration and submissions made by the Registrar and also taking into consideration the fact that earlier also the respondent-University was granted enough time to make the payment to the petitioners as per directions given by this (Downloaded on 05/05/2022 at 08:46:53 PM) (2 of 2) [WCP-461/2018] Court, I deem it appropriate to grant further time to respondent- University to make payment to the petitioners.
List this matter on 18.08.2022. On next date, the Registrar shall submit the nature of the compliance made by the University of the order passed by this Court.
