Learned State counsel, upon instructions, would submit that though efforts have been made but the missing child has not been recovered so far.
We find from the latest report dated 17.08.2022 of the Police Station, Bandikui that despite all efforts made so far from various places across the country and children lodged in various child care institutions, missing child could not be recovered and the investigation is going on. Report dated 17.08.2022 is taken on record.
Towards compliance of direction issued by this Court earlier on 27.07.2022, it is informed that a separate cell specially for recovery of 547 missing children, as noted in the earlier order has been constituted under the directions of Director General of Police, (Downloaded on 24/08/2022 at 10:13:42 PM) (2 of 2) [HC-58/2021] Rajasthan, Jaipur which is making efforts to recover missing children and so far 72 children have already been recovered and the special cell is working to recover all the children as early as possible.
We have gone through the order passed by the Director General of Police, Rajasthan, Jaipur on 29.07.2022 for constitution of special cell in the name of "Khushi-IV".
In addition to the special cell already constituted functioning in the State towards recovery of missing children, a special cell has also been constituted under the direction issued by this Court on 27.07.2022.
On the next date of hearing, the State counsel shall apprise the Court regarding recovery of more children and the efforts made in this regard. As far as the missing child in the present case is concerned, we would direct the Investigating Officer to make all best possible efforts for recovery of the missing child.
In the circumstances of the case, we direct this case to be listed after two months.
The presence of all the Officers except Station House Officer, Police Station, Bandikui is exempted subject to the condition that they will remain present before the Court as and when directed.
List this case after two months.
