1. In the present writ petition, the petitioner is praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus andamus directing the respondent respondents to decide legal notice dated 30.12.2025 (Annexure P P-3) served by the petitioner, claiming arrears of wages for the period from 01.01.2016 to 31.01.2020 as per 6th Punjab Pay Scales recommendations (Annexures P-1 & P-2).

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner, submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if at this stage, a direction is given to respondent No.3 to decide the legal notice dated 30.12.2025 (Annexure P P-3) served by the petitioner in a time-bound time manner.

4. Mr. Anmol Partap Singh Mann, Senior Standing counsel with Mr. Anmol Puri, Junior Panel Counsel, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents-UT respondent Chandigarh and does not oppose the prayer made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner.

5. In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, the present petition iis hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to consider and decide the legal notice dated 30.12.2025 (Annexure P-3) served by the petitioner petitioner, in accordance with law/rules, within a period of 004 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
