1. The instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, quashing the letter dated 12.10.2016 of respondent No.2 (Annexure P-9), vide which the proposal to implement pension scheme, as approved by the competent authority i.e. respondent No.3, has been rejected and further setting-aside the letter dated 11.11.2016 of respondent No.1 (Annexure P-10), vide which the decision of Finance Department has been conveyed by respondent No.1 to respondent No.3. Learned State counsel and counsel for respondent No.3 jointly submitted that the present petition filed by the petitioner is squarely covered against the petitioner-Union in terms of the judgment of dismissal dated 19.10.2024 passed by this Court in CWP No.19659 of 2017 titled as PUDA Employees Welfare Society (Regd.) Vs. State of Punjab and others and other connected cases, wherein the employees of PUDA Welfare Society were claiming the similar relief as prayed in the present petition.

3. Dismissed in the same terms as in CWP No.19659 of 2017 titled as PUDA Employees Welfare Society (Regd.) Vs. State of Punjab and others and other connected cases.
