1. Mr. B.S. Patwalia, Advocate has put in appearance on behalf of the respondent Nos. 3 and 4 and filed Power of Attorney, which is taken on record. Registry is directed to tag the same at an appropriate place.

2. The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking setting aside of communication dated 22.02.2023 (Annexure P-5) whereby respondent has reduced the amount of revised pension and brought down to the ceiling of Rs. 6,500/-.

3. Mr. T.K. Gupta, Advocate submits that issue involved in the instant petition is no more res integra and is squarely covered by judgment dated 12.09.2024 passed by this Court in 'Inderjit Singh Kaknian and others Vs. Union of India and others', (CWP-10992-2023).

4. On being confronted with the facts of the instant case and afore- cited judgment, Mr. Rajesh Hooda, Advocate expressed his inability to controvert applicability of said judgment to the facts of instant case.

5. As issue stands settled by this Court in afore-cited judgment, the petition needs to be disposed of in the same terms. Accordingly, the petition stands disposed of in terms of the judgment dated 12.09.2024 (Supra).

6. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
