1. The prayer in the present petition is for modifying the impugned order dated 25.07.2024 to the extent that after promotion of the petitioner, he has been ordered to be posted in the office of Joint Director, Haryana, Panchkula.
2. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner, who is suffering from a permanent composite disability, rounded 50% and is a ex-serviceman, working as a Clerk, has been posted on promotion in Panchkula from Jhajjar, where he is living with his family, which could not have been done in light of the judgment passed by Delhi High Court in Bhavneet Singh vs. Ircon International Limited and Managing Director and Others, 2023 NCDHC 9447. In this regard, a representation shall be submitted by relying on the aforesaid judgment, supporting his claim, which may be directed to be decided in a time bound manner.

4. At the asking of the Court, Ms. Vibha Tewari, AAG Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and has no objection to the limited prayer made.

5. In view of the above and without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents that in case petitioner submits a representation within a period of 4 weeks, the same shall be considered and decided within a period of 1 month thereafter.
6. Since, the petitioner has not been relieved, status quo shall be maintained till a decision thereon is taken and in case, the same is against him, it shall contain reasons, against which the petitioner shall be free to seek legal redress.
