The present writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, 1950, seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to pay compensation of Rs.60 Lakhs to the petitioner on account of death of her daughter Parneet Kaur due to electrocution.

Mr. Munish Gupta, Advocate, enters appearance and accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
This Court while addressing identical facts in CWP-11626- 2023 titled as "Paramjeet Singh Vs. Punjab State Power Corporation Limited and another" decided on 15.12.2023 with other connected matters has already passed a comprehensive judgment.
Learned counsel for the parties are ad idem that the present writ petition can be disposed of in terms of the aforesaid judgment.
Accordingly with the consent of the parties, the present writ petition is disposed of in terms of "Paramjeet Singh Vs. Punjab State Power Corporation Limited and another" (supra).
