1. This petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking a writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing respondents No.1 to 5 to conduct an inquiry into the fraudulent transfer of the land and building measuring 4500 Sq. Yd. situated at the premises bearing No.415, Dholewal, Industrial Area-A, Ludhiana, having Municipal Corporation Property No. B-23-1929, in the names of respondents No.6 to 9 without the permission of respondents No.1 and 2 allotted in favour of M/s R.B. Knitting Works situated at Dholewal, Industrial Area-A, Ludhiana, vide allotment dated 13.02.1950 (Annexure P-1).

2. After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner prays that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to the petitioner to avail his other remedies in accordance with law.
