1. The petitioners through instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India are seeking direction to the respondents to count the service rendered by them as Special Police Officer for qualifying service for the purpose of pensionary/retiral benefits.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners inter alia contends that case of the petitioners is squarely covered by judgment dated 15.02.2018 (Annexure P-6) of this Court in Sukhjeet Singh and others v. The State of Punjab, CWP No.9936 of 2017.

3. Mr. Aman Dhir, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab who on advance notice is present in Court, submits that in terms of judgment of this Court in Sukhjeet Singh (supra), the respondent-authorities in the case of various officials have considered their claim and passed orders.
