This petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant arrears of minimum pay scale in terms of judgment rendered by this Court in CWP-1887-2019 titled Kalyan Singh and others v. State of Haryana and others, which stands modified by the Division Bench in LPA-733-2024.
2. Learned State counsel contends that to give effect to the directions issued in the aforementioned judgment, the Government has issued a memo dated 26.09.2024, and the petitioners' case for grant of due benefits as ineligible Extension Lecturers in terms thereof is under consideration alongwith that of other similarly placed Extension Lecturers. The benefits will be released within three months.
3. In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, learned counsel for the petitioners has no objection to the petition being disposed of in terms thereof.
4. Ordered accordingly.
