Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is also entitled titled for the Government job keeping in view the land which was acquired by the respondent-State respondent in terms of order dated 02.05.2024 (Annexure P-9).
P Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the issue raised in the present petitioner has already been been decided by the Co Co-ordinate ordinate Bench of this Court while passing order in CWP No.3398 of 2018 titled tit "Gaganpreet preet Singh Vs. State of Punjab" and the respondents are under obligation to consider the claim of the petitioner under the said ju judgment.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner had already raised his claim vide representation dated 09.09.2024, copy of which has been appended as Annexure P P-10 but the same is still 1 of 2 ::: Downloaded on - 27-10-2024 02:55:00 ::: Neutral Citation No:=2024:PHHC:138487 CWP-28554-2024 (O&M) -2- pending consideration with the respondents and the petitioner will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a direction is issued to the respondents to decide the same by passing an appropriate speaking order in a time bound manner.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Satnampreet Singh Chauhan, DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and submits that in case, the representation dated 09.09.2024 (Annexure P-10) has been received in the office of the concerned authorities and the same is still pending consideration with the authorities concerned, the same will be decided by the competent authority within a period of eight weeks from the date of the receipt of certified copy of this order by passing an appropriate speaking order. Learned counsel further submits that in case, it is found feasible to accept the claim of the petitioner, the same will be accepted, otherwise due reasons will be mentioned for not accepting the claim of the petitioner in the speaking order to be passed and the said order will be duly conveyed to the petitioner.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in view the statement of learned State counsel, the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further.
Ordered accordingly.
Pending application, if any, also stands disposed of.
