After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner by placing reliance upon the judgment of this Court passed in CWP No. 16142 of 2014 titled as Sitara Singh Vs. State of Punjab and another, decided on 31.01.2020, submits that the petitioner intends to approach the respondents for the redressal of his grievance and the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further. Further, direction be issued to the respondents to decide the representation, which the petitioner intends to file in a time bound manner.

Learned Counsel for the respondents submits that in case, any representation is received at the hands of the petitioner, the same will be decided in accordance with law by passing an appropriate speaking order within a period of eight weeks of the receipt of any such representation and in case, it is found feasible to accept the claim of the petitioner, the same will be 1 of 2 ::: Downloaded on - 27-10-2024 02:35:12 ::: Neutral Citation No:=2024:PHHC:138186 CWP No. 12115 of 2019 (O&M) 2 accepted, otherwise due reasons will be mentioned in the speaking order, which will be conveyed to the petitioner.
