1. Learned counsel for the petitioner has filed this PIL essentially aggrieved by the non-registration of the offence arising out of certain incidents of stubble burning in paddy fields.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that the FIR has now been lodged as FIR No.0268 dated 23.10.2024 under Section 15 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986, Sections 223 (a) and 280 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, registered at Police Station Radaur, District Yamuna Nagar.
3. In the considered opinion of this Court, the present PIL having become infructuous is disposed of.
