1. This petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking a writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing respondents No.2 to 7 to allot home for rehabilitation of petitioners as per notification (Minutes of Meeting) of department (Annexure P-2) dated 18.03.2009 and to decide the representation dated 20.09.2024 (Annexure P-4).
2. After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioners prays that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to the petitioners to avail their remedies before the concerned department in accordance with law.
3. In view of the above, the instant petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty aforesaid.
4. All pending application(s), if any, shall stand closed.
