1. The petitioner has filed the instant writ petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for the post of Peon.
2. On the last date of hearing i.e. 01.10.2024, the following order was passed :-
"Learned counsel for respondent No.2 submits that the present petition is squarely covered by the judgment of this Court passed in CWP No.1526 of 2000, titled as "Dial Singh and another vs State of Punjab and others" and other connected cases.
An adjournment slip has been circulated on behalf of learned counsel for the petitioner.
Adjourned to 05.11.2024.
