The instant petition was filed by the petitioner with the following prayer:-

"Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari, mandamus etc., setting-aside the impugned order, 'P/12', and calling upon the respondents to grant the proper pay scale of Rs.1800-3200 to the petitioner at par with the Punjab Pay scale, as well as for the grant of any other relief that this Hon'ble Court may, in the circumstances of the case, deem fit and proper."

While issuing notice of motion on 13.07.1993, the writ petition was admitted with respect to the claim of the petitioner regarding pay-scale and the relief relating to transfer was rejected.

1 of 2 ::: Downloaded on - 04-05-2024 17:06:24 ::: Neutral Citation No:=2024:PHHC:061266 CWP-8197-1993 (O&M) -2- 2024:PHHC:061266 Learned counsel for the parties are ad idem that the claim of the petitioner for grant of same pay-scale, as has been granted to their counter-parts working in the State Government, is squarely covered by the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in "Punjab State Cooperative Milk Producers Federation Limited and another vs Balbir Kumar Walia and others", 2021(3) SCT 322.

Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed in the same terms.
