Challenge in the present writ petition is to the orders dated 28.01.2021 and 18.10.2021, Annexures P-4 and P-5 respectively, whereby respondent No.4 has discontinued the old age pension granted to petitioner.
It has been seen from the perusal of the order sheets that there has been no appearance on behalf of the petitioner on the last three dates of hearing. The position remains the same today as well.
It has been informed by the learned State counsel that the issue involved in the present writ petition has been already held against the petitioner in view of the judgment passed by this Court in CWP-3198-2021 titled as 'Raksha Kaushik and Others Vs Union of India and Others, decided on 19.09.2023.
It seems that the petitioner is no more interested to pursue the present writ petition.
Dismissed for non-prosecution.
