1. The present petition is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.257 dated 17.10.2023, under Sections 307, 324, 323, 341, 506, 148 and 149 of IPC, registered at Police Station Model Town, District Hoshiarpur (Annexure P-1).
2. Learned State counsel has filed short reply by way of affidavit of Sh. Amar Nath, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division City, District Hoshiarpur on behalf of the respondent-State, which is taken on record.
3. After vehemently arguing on the merits of the case, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the present petition at this stage.
4. In light of the above, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case.
