CORAM : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VINOD S. BHARDWAJ

PRESENT None for the petitioner.

            Ms. Harpriya Khaneka, DAG, Punjab.

            Mr. I.P.S. Kohli, Advocate,
            (Through Video Conference)
            for respondents No.8 and 9.

VINOD S. BHARDWAJ, J. (ORAL)

Prayer in the present writ petition was for seeking issuance of directions to the respondents No.2 and 3 i.e. the Director General of Police, Punjab and the Inspector General of Police, NRI and Women Wing, Mohali, to consider the representations dated 27.09.2017 and 03.10.2017 (Annexures P-6 and P-7) submitted by the petitioner by passing a speaking and well reasoned order.

The above said representations were based on the judgment and decree dated 14.09.2015 passed by the Civil Court.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondents contends that the prayer made in the present writ petition does not survive any further since the judgment and decree dated 14.09.2015 was an ex parte decree and the same has already been set aside by the Civil Court and that the FIR had already been registered with respect to the incident that found mention in the representations submitted by the petitioner Learned counsel for the petitioner had sought time on the last date of hearing on being confronted with the above said aspects claimed by the counsel for the respondents No.8 and 9.

Dismissed for non-prosecution.
