This petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to promote the petitioner to the post of Superintending Engineer (Civil), from the date the cadre post fell vacant or from the date his immediate juniors were so promoted vide order dated 14.03.2024, along with all consequential benefits including arrears of pay.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that grievance raised herein is pending for appropriate decision before respondent no.2. At this stage, the petitioner will be satisfied in case respondent no.2 is directed to decide his pending representation, dated 01.04.2024, Annexure P-13, in a specified period.

4. Ms. Tanushree Gupta, Deputy Advocate General, Haryana, accepts notice and submits that the pending representation, dated 01.04.2024, will be decided by respondent no.2-Additional Chief Secretary, Public Works Department (B&R), by passing a speaking order in accordance MANINDER . . .
