The petitioner who was working as Assistant with respondent No.3, has filed the instant petition seeking a writ of mandamus for directing the respondents to grant the pay-scale as granted to her counter-parts in the Punjab Government w.e.f. 01.01.1986 and also grant the masters scales w.e.f. 01.01.1993.

In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed in view of the law laid by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Balbir Kumar Walia's case (supra).
