For the reasons stated in the application, the same is allowed and the document (Annexure P-9), is taken on record and the main writ petition is taken on board for hearing today itself. CWP-1135-2023 (O&M) The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to grant one notional annual increment for pensionary benefits on completion of one full year of service, in view of the judgment passed in CWP No.32598 of 2019, titled as "Gurdev Singh and others vs State of Punjab", along with 1 of 2 ::: Downloaded on - 11-05-2024 15:08:40 ::: Neutral Citation No:=2024:PHHC:065503 CM-6772-CWP-2024 IN/AND CWP-1135-2023 (O&M) -2- connected matters including CWP No.18431 of 2020, titled as "Mulkh Raj and another vs Punjab State Power Corporation Limited."
Vide order dated 20.01.2023, the case was adjourned sine die to await the decision of LPA Nos.922 and 696 of 2022, which have now been dismissed by the Division Bench of this Court vide judgment dated 09.04.2024.
Learned counsel for the parties are ad idem that the present petition is covered by the judgment dated 16.03.2022, passed by this Court in CWP No.32598 of 2019, titled as "Gurdev Singh and others vs State of Punjab and another" and other connected cases, which has been upheld in LPA Nos.696 and 922 of 2022.
Disposed of in the same terms as in CWP No.32598 of 2019 and other connected cases, upheld in LPA Nos.696 and 922 of 2022.
