1. Present cross-objections were filed by the defendant-respondent in the main appeal being RSA-793-1999 in which following order was passed on 25.04.2024 :
"1. Learned counsel for the appellant states that the present appeal has been rendered infructuous as the parties have since settled the matter.
2. Dismissed as having been rendered infructuous. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, also stand disposed off."
2. Since the appeal (RSA No.793 of 1999) itself stands dismissed as having been rendered infructuous, the present cross-objections being offshoot of the same, are also disposed off as having been rendered infructuous.
