1. No one has appeared on behalf of the appellant today despite the matter being called twice. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent states that he has no instructions in the matter.

2. The present appeal pertains to the year 1999. As per the Office report, the sole appellant has since expired. No one has come forward to get themselves impleaded as legal representatives of the appellant.

3. In view thereof, this Court is left with no other option but to dismiss the present appeal along with the cross-objections for non- prosecution.

4. Accordingly, the present appeal along with the cross-objections is dismissed for non-prosecution with liberty to revive in case anything survives in the matter. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
