This petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant the petitioner notional benefit, re-fixation of seniority, arrears, etc., from the date respondent no.4 was appointed, since both of them got equal marks and the petitioner is senior to respondent no.4 in age.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that grievance raised herein is pending for appropriate decision before respondent no.2. At this stage, the petitioner will be satisfied in case respondent no.2 is directed to decide his pending legal notice, dated 28.02.2024, Annexure P-8, in a specified period.

4. Ms. Tanushree Gupta, Deputy Advocate General, Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State, and submits that the pending legal notice, dated 28.02.2024, will be decided by respondent no.2- Director, Department of Secondary Education, by passing a speaking order MANINDER . . . . .
