(1) The present intra court appeal arises out of the judgment dated 04.01.2024 passed by a learned Single Judge of this Court partly allowing the appellant's petition filed by him to challenge therein the award dated 14.10.2008 passed by the Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court, Chandigarh.
(2) After hearing learned counsel for the appellant and going through the record of the case as also the impugned judgment, we find that the learned Single Judge, after having been convinced that the services of the appellant had been terminated without following the provisions of Section 25-F of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, has ordered payment to the appellant a lump sum compensation of Rs.2,00,000/- for the reason that the project against which the appellant had been appointed had been completed 1 of 2 ::: Downloaded on - 06-04-2024 04:16:52 ::: Neutral Citation No:=2024:PHHC:041312-DB LPA No. 779 of 2024 [2] 2024:PHHC:041312-DB long ago and because before termination of his services the appellant had served the management for only 03 years and that too on daily wage basis. (3) In the afore facts, the relief granted by the learned Single Judge is found to be reasonable warranting no interference on our part.
