1. The petitioner seeks issuance of directions to the official respondents to protect her life and liberty as she apprehends threat to the same at the hands of respondent No.7-Resham Singh (father of petitioner), respondent No.8- Lakhwinder Kaur (mother of petitioner), respondent No.9-Dharampreet Singh (brother of petitioner), respondent No.10-Jagseer Singh (uncle of petitioner) and respondent No.11 Jagseer Singh (mama of the petitioner), who according to the petitioner intend to foricbly marry of the petitioner.
2. It has been submitted that as of now the petitioner is residing with a friend in District Mansa.
3. Learned counsel for the petitoner submits that at this stage he would be satisfied in case, a direction is issued to respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, Mansa to get her representation (Annexure P-2) examined.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, but without commenting anything as regards the veracity of the averments made in the petition and while also keeping in view the limited prayer made by the petitioner at this stage, the same is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, Mansa, to get representation dated 15.3.2024 (Annexure P-2) examined qua the alleged threat perception of the petitioner in accordance with law. In case, it is found that there is genuine threat to life and liberty of the petitioner, then necessary steps as warranted under law be taken thereupon.
5. A copy of this order along with copy of representation dated 15.3.2024 (Annexure P-2) be sent to respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, Mansa for necessary compliance.
