1. The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to count the service rendered as Special Police Officer for qualifying service for the purpose of pensionary/retiral benefits.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner, inter alia, contends that case of the petitioner is squarely covered by the judgment of this Court in Harbans Lal Vs. State of Punjab in CWP No.2371 of 2010 and Sukhjit Singh and others Vs. Statdee of Punjab and others in CWP No.9936 of 2017.

3. Mr. Pawan Kumar, DAG, Punjab who on advance notice is present in Court submits that in terms of above stated judgments of this Court, the respondents authorities in the case of various officials have considered their claim and passed orders.
