1. The present petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a direction to the Executing Court concerned to decide the execution application being EXE/1/2019 dated 26.12.2018 in a time bound manner.

2. As per the Dashboard of District Courts, Barnala available on the website of National Judicial Data Grid, there are 871 such cases pending before the concerned Court including 10 to 20 years' old cases.

3. The Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case titled as High Court Bar Association, Allahabad Vs. State of U.P. & Ors. [2024 (2) RCR (Civil) 199] has held in para No.37(c) as under :

"37(c) Constitutional Courts, in the ordinary course, should refrain from fixing a time-bound schedule for the disposal of cases pending before any other Courts. Constitutional Courts may issue directions for the time- bound disposal of cases only in exceptional AMAN JAIN 2024.03.20 21:17 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this judgment/order.

4. No exceptional ground is made out in the present case for issuance of directions to the Court concerned to dispose off the matter in a time bound manner.

5. In view thereof, the present revision petition is dismissed. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
