This is a contempt petition filed under Sections 10/12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for initiating contempt proceedings against the respondents for not implemented the judgment dated 19.10.2023 passed in CWP-23859-2023.
Notice of motion.
Mr. Gunjan Mehta, Addl. Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and has produced copy of speaking order dated 06.02.2024, vide which, the representation of the petitioner has been rejected. Copy of said speaking order is taken on record. Registry is directed to scan the same and place it at appropriate place.
Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the same. In view of the above, the present petition is rendered infructuous and dismissed, as such.
However, if any grievance of the petitioner is left un-addressed, he would be at liberty to raise the same in any alternate remedy, but in accordance with law.
