1. The prayer in the present Civil Writ Petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is to issue a writ in the nature of mandamus, for directing the respondent authorities to provide the petitioners the report of the inquiry conducted by State Cyber Crime Cell, Punjab and to quash the entire selection process.
2. On being confronted with the judgment wherein the same prayer had made as in the present case, it being CWP-22330-2023 which was dismissed on 05.10.2023, learned counsel for the petitioners, accepts that she was aware of the said decision and has gone through the same as well, but is unable to explain the reason of not mentioning the said fact in her petition, even though it was filed by a separate set of petitioners. She, thus prays for withdrawal of the present petition with liberty to pursue the remedies available, before the department.
