Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that after the impugned order was passed, a fresh reply of the Superintendent of Jail Police, Patiala has been furnished as per which, the petioner has been removed from the category of C-category gangsters.
Faced with the situation, the learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to approach the appropriate authorities in view of the changed circumstances.
Ordered accordingly.
If an application is moved, the appropriate authority shall decide the same expeditiously but in any case not later than 8 weeks from the date of receipt of the application.
