1. The present civil writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing of the impugned promotion order dated 31.07.2020, whereby respondent No.5, who is much junior to the petitioner has been promoted as Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology.
2. Learned counsel on instructions from the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the instant petition.
