The instant petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ or direction in the nature of Mandamus to direct the respondents No.3 and 4 to pay the compensation to the tune of Rs.20 lacs to the petitioner for the untimely death of her husband on 06.08.2023 due to the accident/collusion caused by a stray animal.
Notice of motion.
Mr. Pankaj Mulwani, DAG, Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 and 2 whereas, Mr. Vivek Saini, Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.3 and 4. They submit that the present writ petition can be disposed of in terms of comprehensive judgment passed by this Court in CWP-22904-2016 titled as 'RAJWINDER KAUR AND ANOTHER VS. STATE OF HARYANA AND OTHERS', decided on 18.08.2023.
Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has no objection to the same.
